Interviews
For more information we contacted several global warming experts through E-mail. Our of three experts mailed, we only received answers from one expert by the date this page was to be submitted. We hope to upgrade this page as we receive new information from the remaining two experts. Below are excerpts from the information we obtained. (Portions of this page were copied directly from e-mail contacts.)

Why is G.W. considered a major problem to us?
The major problems of global warming that as humans we could face someday
include coastal flooding where a high percentage of people live due to sea
level rise, as an example. The problems break down economically, politically,
and ecologically. There may be certain consequences to face as a result
of warmer global temperatures.
Are their any animal species that could thrive under the new climate conditions?
This is quite difficult to answer, but I have heard of some animal species
that respond better to warmer conditions, especially during winter. I
guess an example would be like hibernation animals (e.g. squirrels, bears).
If winters are milder and shorter, they will have a shorter duration of
hibernating and will require more vegetation and such.
