Earth on Fire Modules

In our research, we went to the NASA web site at http://www.cotf.edu/ete/, and preformed various activities. In our studies, we fitted curves to line charts, comprised data and tables, and balanced the carbon cycle. We found that five greenhouse gases could be the reason why the earth's temperature is slowly rising. They are as follows:

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Ozone gases (O3) Methane (CH4) Nitric Acid (NO2) Carbon Monoxide (CO).

These gases are released by the burning of grass, charcoal, and wood. Also, industrial emissions such as combustion of fossil fuels, and the production of common cement add to the already high amounts of harmful gases.

For another module, we interacted with groups from Bellarmine in Washington D.C. Due to Snow days and winter breaks little contact was able to be made, but with this little help we were able to graph Industrial Fossil Fuel Emissions.
