Lauren and Beth are the same person.

People get confused about my name. I don't know why but my parents decided it would be funny to give me one on my birth certificate and call me another.

For the purposes of formal, written documents, I am Lauren Binkovitz. I am Lauren on enrollment forms, medical records, driver's licence, passport etc.

For the purposes of casual exchanges and verbal conversations, I am Beth Binkovitz. E-mails, forum posts, letters to friends and family, and correspondence like that are in the name Beth. When I think of myself, I think of Beth.
