Eric: A good friend I've known since I was 5. He's always been about a foot taller than me. Likes pork roasts, homemade beef jerky, and apparently donuts. Dislikes small cars like Ford Escorts.

The 1991 Ford Escort LX with 1.9 L "SEFI" engine. You wouldn't believe the difference on the oil filter between the 1.8 and 1.9 L. Throughout the trip much mention of the "sefi" was done when overtaking other vehicles. I had been using it up in Bangor, California that summer, and it had run reliably on trips down i5 (it's not *the five* and stop calling it that socal).
